Green Printer is a fast-growing print company that gives people the choice to print on recycled and treeless paper. People can make a big difference by simply choosing green printing methods because it eliminates a lot of waste in the printing process from the choice of non-toxic inks to dry offset printing.
I’m pleased to work with Olga Orda, Principal of EQUO3 Strategies, as a weekly contributor to Green Printer’s blog. Check out the blog to find out how easy and cost-effective it is to switch to green printing without sacrificing quality and the environment.
The blog posts are also published on Green Options or Ecopreneurist. Green Options is a community and network of blogs focused on helping people figure out their understanding of sustainability. Ecopreneurist provides news and advice on sustainable and social entrepreneurship.

I am looking for a green printing service for my wedding announcements, invitations, etc. I am located near Denver, and would like to find someone local to negate the need for excessive shipping. Any suggestions?

Hi JoBob,
Thanks for your interest in printing green!
It looks like there are a few options for printers in Denver:

When you’re looking for a printer, using post-consumer paper is one of the best ways you can help the environment, and look for Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certification. FSC sets a standard to ensure that FSC products come from forests that are managed to meet the social, economic and ecological needs of present and future generations.
Hope this helps and let me know if you have any other questions.

Here on the East Coast I am concerned about the non profit organizations.
I have decided to do something that my partners think is crazy, and that is to create a non profit coop.
So, if a non profit gives me 3-4 weeks lead time, I am selling business cards for $45.00 per 500 cards,
printed on 100% post-consumer waste recycled, 100# cover. My printing is FSC and ISO certified and
Green-E certified. We use Wind Energy to power our plants.
I am also discounting post-cards and bookmarks.
Please call me with any questions.
